Scents.

Recommended Posts

Just something i've been pondering over.

What would be the most alarming scent to an animal, the smell of human sweat or the perfume smell of deoderant?

I would have thought that perhaps animals would recognise human sweat as something dangerous, perhaps an inbuilt warning from thousands of years of being hunted?

And that a perfume smell would definitely be noticed but not thought of as a danger?

Me think's either smell will set alarm bell's rining for a prey species..if you rub yourself in pine sap and go on land where they is no pine im sure the quarry would be warey..

So you dont think one would be worse than the other.

Any smell would be out of the ordinary to a prey animal..not that it matter's if you get the wind right.. ;)
