billy0200 0 Posted January 4, 2012 Report Share Posted January 4, 2012 hi i have two lurchers one saluki greyhound that no his job and i got a young dog that am trying to train but am finding it very hard to walk both dogs and lamp at the same time cos only want to slip my saluki so the young one can watch and see how its done any tips would be great thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
sandymere 8,263 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 The adult should be trained to lamp from heel so only the pups lead to worry about. One outing should be enough to teach the pup all it’s going to learn from just watching, from then on take them out separately. The pup should get all your attention to embed good retrieves etc. Once its working well on rabbits the other dog can be re introduced if required. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
