Imo people are getting plain fed up with being told what they CAN & CAN'T do in this day and age!!!!!.

The hare was born to run = the sighthound was born to chase him , when he lifts and the lead pulls you forget all about the ban , fines ,antis .

i think this poacher watch ect will go no and on do gooders jumping on the band wagon and keepers and coppers getting extra eyes at night lose lips and all that. everyone who runs dogs needs to be on their guard because someone is out to get you even if you have permo in the area the general public have been brain washed into thinking dogs running anything is a crime and that needs to be changed,is it the old story of shooters against dog boys?(this topic has been done) this atitude must change soon not everyone are poaching for profit or theives!!!!

good hunting

been like this were i was brought up most of our lifes even in eighties estates didnt like you coursing hares in scotland , we got told to leave or police ,back then as there was no mobiles so he had to go back to house and phone them etc , by that time we were some were else , this is not new hence the lurcher was a poaching mans dog ,yeras ago we went early morning or grey dark on for a chase or two and off , now they just walk about like lame ducks waiting to get nabbed some of them , it was only in last thirty years people got permision etc for payment and i would say last 20 or more when more people wanted to do it after readin mags etc and fens started getting popular

cracking down cos hunting lads are an easy target! using 200 year old laws and giving out fixed fines of £80 a time!! if they put as much time into catching real criminals instead of harassing lads walking there dogs, if someone reports a light in a field they are there in a flash!! someone reports a flashlight in your house takes the 3 days to attend!!

  1. its a sin getting fined for chaseing a hare but if the made it legal they would have to licence it or make it so the landowner would benefit to , to give you acsses to his property ,as in some areas they spiol for there selves , hope the ban gets repealed in hole of uk but we all live in hope and get on with it the best we can

Artical in tonights blackpool evening gazette 2 lads seen slipping there dog wich chased and killed hares famers tried block there van but they got away only to get a pull a few miles down the rd bolth lads got a good fine.running hares in this neck of the woods is madness even on permission bad enough at night but these 2 were poaching daytime they must have seen all the hare watch posters nailed to every other fence post. is it just me getting old ?

Its not just you coursers that suffer, my permission for ferreting is land owned by on of the countries top greyhound/coursing dog breeder in Ireland. The ban over there in the u.k has seriously affected his livelyhood and has lost a lot of income. Genuinely nice fella and his place is in top condition too and all the dogs well looked after.

I dont do it myself but i love all things about hunting and the hunting life and the "history" of it.........unfortuntely in this dy and age a lot of it is going to be history with all the political crap and the antis

fxck em all i say keep up the good work fellas the ban has just added excitement to hunting for me stealth mode all the way lol

And thats whats wrong with the game, too many doing it for the buzz of getting chased, not giving a f**k about the land, quarry or their dogs.

I dont know you and im not saying you personally do all those things but plenty do and the rest of us get tarred with the same brush.
