I know their illegal to hunt but has anyone ever had any in their traps, they're nasty little things :icon_eek: is it illegal to kill them once caught or is that classed as hunting aswell
they are not that tiny caught a couple in mink traps years ago , the male was bigger than any mink i have ever caught , and its winter coat , the hair was two inches long the heaviest mink ive had was 6 lbs,

The one i had was alot bigger than that one in the picture. A man from my way told me they had a wild polecat kitten before and when it was old enough took its teeth out and bread it with a tame jill, the kittens from that were good stock but were just as vicious as a wild one

The one in the photo is in a mink trap and it is the size lenght wise of the trap,if you put your fingers near the trap it went mental, had a b*****d of a job getting it out alive.
