Buster321c 1,010
I think you will find Davy means that exceeding the power it was `set up for ` will throw the accuracy out of the window . Powering up or down is not as simple as turning a screw , like some think . Its getting the balance right and making the rifle run as well as it can . strange one that my fac rapid has 3 settings 12,27 and 42 flbs and all i do it turn an allen key accuracy is spot on but just needs the scope adjusting which i allready no the settings for each change, however i would advise anyone without an fac not to do it as the loss of liberty is not worth it FAC Rapid is the key answer there . Its designed and set up to do these things . Ive had people ask `Which screw takes my S410 up to 25 ftlbs ?` Simple answer is , it cant be done , its not designed to go that high , being a sub 12 ftlb rifle . Even at a push it would`nt go much more than 14-15 .......... Quote Link to post

Baghdadnights 150
The gunpower stealth is an American rifle designed and built as basically a fac powered rifle that's why it can handle higher power it was never designed to be solely sub 12ftlb Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
am geting an rws 500 just wondring is there any way to make it over 12 pound hi willshunter taking your air rifle over 12ft/lbs is against the law if you do not hold a fire arms certificate. and talking about it on an open forum is against forum rules all responsible air gunners keep there rifles around 11.4ft/lbs to stay on the right side of the law! also there is no point taking the power over the limit as accuracy will go out the window (not very accurate) so would advise you to get a chrongraph and keep it under the legal limit, and learn your mill dots and points of impact at different ranges. Davy davy so are you saying fac air rifles arnt accurate.. yes I am saying an sub 12ft/lb air rifle tuned beyond its ability ,will not be accurate as a 12ft/lb rifle.because the parts of a sub 12ftlb air rifle are not manufactured to go over 12/ftlb. sorry should of made that clearer earlier! well i hope its clearer Davy Quote Link to post
Baghdadnights 150
Might be built outside uk but if it's built for the uk market it's built as sub12 not fac then detuned think the stealth is only one I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong Edited January 4, 2012 by Baghdadnights Quote Link to post
