i am a animal managment student can you please help me with a survay with your opinion on how the population in ur view has changed from before the ban and how you control fox hare deer and mink now.

have you noticed a change in fox population since the ban has been enforced ?

has this ban changed the number of fox deer hare and mink you cull in one a year ?

has the ban stopped you controlling fox deer hare and mink all together ?

thank you for helping atb huntingryan i

About twenty eight year ago i could take, bolt or dig "whichever" upto 70+ fox a year, since the ban i'de give you a tenner for every fox you see not catch. I struggle unless i've got a dozen or so sets of eyes up and down my area looking out for earths that are being worked.

The rifle is no judge of youthfull vigour and can't judge which animal neads to be culled, IMO things have got real hard for our red friend since the ban.

More and more foxes, hares and deer are being shot every year as lamping with rifles has become ever more fashionable.

Lads with dogs are chucking it at a fast rate of knots, around these parts anyway. Very few decent lads left in it, just arseholes.

Your spelling and grammer are terrible what college are you studying at.

Lol have you yet to realise, poor grammar and incorrect use of any form of vernacular is the staple of this site, some words could not even pass as being presented phonetically, the diction is so irrefutably incomprehensible :victory:

Whereas once the farmers were happy to have us on their land to control foxes, they are now very reluctant: wide open countryside, flat land: you can be seen for miles. A lot of farm land is council owned, so any hint of people digging foxes with terriers is likely to be seen as illegal (most of the public have no idea as to the intricacies of the ban/law: even had someone videoing us ferreting the other day because they thought we were doing something illegal!)

Night vision has made it much easier for the night shooters. Foxes in such areas are definitely less common, and ten times more difficult to find.
