Mouser 18
A friend was talking about them the other day, and I am curious are they even used for anything other than show anymore? Look like they might make good ratters still yet. Mouser Quote Link to post
lampinglurcher 36
not seen any working except the occasional rat. in thinking about the breed it seems that modern terriermen have got to the manchester terrier too slowly, therefore leaving it wide open for the kennel club . ive never heard of anyone breeding them for function nowadays. shame really as the look like they could be handy little dogs. they go like shit off a shovel as well. Dave R 3
I Have worked with a couple in the past (being from lancs) they make excellent rat and bush dogs fearless although a bit big for fox, But the only ones i see now adays are kc reg non hunters. with the long faces the older working bred had much shorter muzzles and a more muscular body.
