I cannot believe some of the posts in this thread. Is THL a breakaway section of the BNP? I've heard it all now. Just listen to some of the points made in this thread: 1) The double jeopardy law should never have been repealed for a 'black' teenager. When a law is a bad law and allows oxygen thieves to swagger around laughing at the law then the law is a bad law and needs to be changed. 2)SL was no angel and was a member of a black power organisation. Firstly he had never been in trouble in his life, he was a clever studious lad. Secondly the 'evidence' for his black power allegiance seems to be he has a clenched fist in the photo that appears in the media.Big fecking deal! He was a young lad probably being macho for the camera. In any case the black power salute was about civil rights not about world domination! It was started by two Olympic athletes trying to make a point about America being proud of its athletes but not allowing the same athletes access to a 'white' cafe for instance. It was the same reason Mohammad Ali threw his gold medal away. 3) There is no problem with race relations in this country. What was the trigger for the recent riots? Why is black and mixed race unempolyment higher than white unemployment? (FFS don't give me the lazy Sambo crap') Why is there a disproportionate number of black deaths in police custody? This fact is not disputed by the police. 4) The SL family were made a special case because they were black.The fact is they faced what has been called 'institutionalised racism' right from the start. DESPITE the racism they managed to get a conviction. Credit also is due to the The Daily Mail which also made the authorities act by publically naming the murderers and inviting them to sue. 5) The murderers deserve our sympathy because they faced an onslaught of black organisations determined to see them locked up. Yes they did and well done.Shit like that who have never contributed anything to society but evil, they should have the key thrown away. Very well done those black people and institutions for never giving up. 6)The murderous, cowardly shit deserve respect because they have never revealed the identity of the the gang member who wielded the knife.But this situation is not a case of ordinary 'grassing'. It's far more likely that the rest of the gang are terrified of the reprisals which will visit their families if he is named. I fully expect that when the realisation that they will not get out after they've served their tariff unless they express remorse and can prove that are no longer a threat to society(in real terms this means spilling the beans on the identity of the actual murderer) then the prize shit will be named --as long as the informant's family can be given police protection which will probably mean being resettled under assumed identities. 7) The commemorative plaque placed where SL was knifed was defaced by black people to stir up more support for blacks. What bollocks. Black people who gathered at the plaque after the court verdict were spat upon and verbally abused by white people. It only stopped when a cop car with a camera was sent to the scene And Gnasher you tell me there's no problem with race relations in this country? Anybody who expresses support for SL and his family is left wing, perhaps Gnasher you meant what is normally referred to as dogooding bleeding heart liberals'. Well I plead guilty to the 'charge of being left wing'. How could you not be left wing and be working class? Inequality of all types is growing in this country. It took hundreds years of fight to get decent housing, employment rights and an NHS. This Eton mafia are busily dismantling it to the cheers of working class tories like you Gnasher. I think there's a lot of mixed up ideas in this thread. 'Blackness' is mixed up with both legal and illegal immigration. There's a feeling that white working class people are last in the queue when it comes to housing, benefits etc.This has feck all to do with the murder of a lad because he was black. This is sort of my way of thinking, their are decent black families as well as scum. Their are decent white families as well as scum.

NO ONE has said that a law shouldn't be passed for a black teenager being murdered, the problem is that the many many other young white murders haven't been deemed worthy of the law being changed for!
