lifelong cumbrian 1,826
When i had a couple of switches with the same problem i could not get any anywere, I got a bit of 1mm stainless and hack sawed it to the correct diameter to sit in the recess in the back if the switch, i then drilled a 1mm hole in middle and with a needle file i filled a drive into it. I them fixed it into the switch with mastic, you could use arraldite. I then fit a new plastic depth gauge from ebay, you need to be carefull that you put it in the correct place on the drive. Bit of a job i agree but it made 2 broken boxes work again and as the drive is now metal it will never break again, used them alot since so is a proven fix. Quote Link to post
lifelong cumbrian 1,826
You also need to widen the slot one way in the grey box as the switch would then sit 1mm prouder. You could use slightly thinner metal if you wanted to. Quote Link to post
