Simonrees 45
I know that as a SC Holder I can borrow a Shotgun off a friend for upto 72 Hours without notifying the authorities. But can I borrow a Rifle? What I mean is, I'm an FAC holder and have .223 on my ticket, (but don't currently own one!) a friend is selling a .223 and I've been asked by a farmer to sort out a fox problem on land that has been passed for .223. So Can I borrow the rifle and try before I buy so to speak, or must I be accompanied by my friend who owns the gun, who unfortunately works night a lot of the time? Thanks in advance. paulus 26
you can but you will have to send your paperwork and ticket in first stating lent, the other way which is what we know do is have it put on both tickets as shared especially for the larger calibres that only get used now and again for say reds up scotland Quote Link to post
