Went out last night with Longdogrunner on his permission :whistle: walked miles and only had 4 runs, his dog Bruce was great on every one! Rabbits were thin on the ground, only bagged four but had a great time nonetheless

Seems to be only in the middle of summer we get hard ground, 'its always damp up north'

The ground aint too clever here either, but some of the grassy fields were ok, plus Bruce has got good feet...... ......... molly dont worry i gave her the full brief about you....

grounds getting hard localy ,now, espec on the winter wheat, but ive still being knocking rabs over in the grass pastures,i remember my first night lamping 2o odd years ago great time home made lamp and dog,

Yes, my legs were soaked too and I feel like Ive been dragged through a hedge backwards today Still, I had the best time ever and will definately be going again!
