meg my whippet x has just came in to her first season can i still take her ferreting on her own or should i just leave her this is the first time she has broke down she is only 14 month ?

It's OK to work her whilst in season, (obviously not along side male dogs LOL) but it's the few weeks after she's finished when she needs careful handling as her body's hormonal changes will affect her fitness etc.
