NEWKID 27,278
I can't remeber ever the winter being this warm, we're yet to have a frost down here in Devon, and yesterday we had 3 rabbits carrying young. Do you think the seasons matter anymore as by the looks of it we've now got year round breeding............ Quote Link to post
BrianSteven72 369
its not been that cold up hear in Scotland ether this winter although not seen and rabbits in young , but this time last year we were knee deep in snow and it was down to minus 20 at night it swings in roundabouts some winters are mild and some are frozen Quote Link to post

NEWKID 27,278
Where about in devon are you? They had snow on all moorland bits mate In Exeter mate, heard there was a sprinkling on the moors but I've not even woken to ice on the car yet...... Ideation: I didn't ferret much after end of feb last year as we started to find young in them, never been a summer hunter, just don't expect to find 3 with young in them at the end of December. MikeTheDog 153
Quite normal to find rabbits in kit down south here in Sussex, Devon being warmer and more chance of rabbits with their bellys full of young. Quote Link to post
