Tyla 3,179
I think its actually better here than last year, its still bad now but last year was terrible. I reckon mixy and/or VHD is the problem here Quote Link to post
Moll. 1,770
a buzzard on every fence post ..... Would that be those harmless BOP they released telling everyone they only take carrion by any chance They are also taking the red squirrels, owls............. Quote Link to post
wezza 396
Deffinatley noticed a decline this year on my permission and around me. Seems to differ year by year though, some years more some less, like previously said they always bounce back. One thing is for sure the main reason why they are down is due to the area lifting with fox. Seen no signs of mixy this year (yet) Quote Link to post
shamus 36
there was plenty in the summer but by the time to start, numbers had crashed. The survivors of whatever that was are now getting myxi. There was a few rabbits set up on a bit of derelict land next to where i keep my boat, god knows where they came from or how they got there but they have even got myxi now. Quote Link to post

RossM 8,119
Was out for an hour tonight, saw maybe 20ish rabbits, only 3 sat around and were worth a slip, most were off as soon as the lamp flicked over them, it's just not the same as years ago when a night rapid on the bunnies, slip after slip was the normal thing, the only upside to tonight was seeing the 12mth old pup I had on here for rehoming run, the big lad can shift, still a bit keen with pace to burn and put pressure on the bunnies into making mistakes rather than being tactful and using the gears, still chuffed to see him catch and retrieve live to hand.
