Guest LEARNER
some dogs can take a bit off pressure, some can,t, there can be a danger off pushing a dog faster than it can cope with, in that instance a would try a more laid back approach, i,ve had a couple off lurchers given to me ,with a timid type off way, i knew they where good solid dogs to start with, my outlook was ,tread easy ,and wait, its not long before the confidense returns. shaun v 3
they get like teenagers thinking they know better, thats when some people end up spoiling them if they are to hard on them , but i find that its just a phase they go through like kids, i personaly would lay them off and mess about with them indoors . Guest Doug
How does the timid show? Some are just that way, some are made that way. You can make very good dogs out of them because they are easier to train if you have the right personality. Learner has the way of it exactly. Quote Link to post
