Lithium batteries

Anybody using the new lithium batteries just looking for some feedback on how well they last and any negatives before i splash the cash or are you better sticking with the old type.

Seen this topic a few times mate....suprised nobodies replied......i havent got one so cant comment, but if you do a search theres been plenty of topics on them.

better half got me one for xmas.trying it out tomorrow night.its the 14ah type.ive read good reports about them but time will tell.

i have the 14amp one,i use a blitz with a 50watt bulb in and it last me all night and i lamp from the back of the van,a very good piece of kit and i wont go back to the old sealed type.

i managed to get an old style one without the fuel gauge for £50 brand new off ebay its only the 8amph but does me fine as it takes roughly 3 hours to walk my permission and it lasts longer than that. if you get one you wont ever want to go back to the old style lead/acid.

Brilliant,, I have the 22 ampere hour model, that lasts a few nights lamping with my striker, No way would I go back to carrying 4 stone of lead acid about again.
