as a mum.........

Recommended Posts

I can remember finding an injured seagull on the side of the road, put it in the footwell of the car and went to my mothers. A bit later there was a knock at her door, and a boy said..."Excuse me but did you know there was a bird in your car" The seagull had just been stunned and had come too and started flying around the inside of the car

I used to take loads of stuff home, birds, dogs, cats, hedgehogs, even kept slugs as pets in the outhouse :icon_redface:

Now i cut out the middle man and just bring them home to myself :D

My mum always encouraged my interest in animals when I was a kid and the only things I wasn't allowed were dogs and birds (my mums terrified of anything with feathers on), it was better for her me rooting around for bugs etc than knocking about with all the local scrotes up to no good, unfortunately I managed to do both ;)

when i woke her up she seen it screamed and jumped back knocking it out of the kitchen roll i was holding it in,never to be found.
