  That's why they have their own class's....... ...'cos they aint a lurcher...   Of course they're lurchers!....   Plummer terriers have their own class's and they are still terriers!

I would call it a grey whippet with a touch of bull but that's just my opinion. Either way you look at it it's a lurcher so unless you think it 'bigs up' a dog to call it a bull cross why call it anyt

As far as i'm concerned a Lurcher is a Lurcher because of what it does, not what makes up it's breeding.   I've kept bull crosses for near 20 years but they are still Lurchers. As for the way they

i think when you go more than 2 breeds you can loose what the bull put in to the lurcher (tenacity, power, guts, ) i know you can still get these thing with other xs with that bit of bull in them, but straight bullx really does take some beating i think. My dog Tod is 3/8 bull 5/8 gey, bullx to bullx , and he can get rabbits no prob. i think the 1 quarry rabbit is the 1st thing any lurcher as got to catch , and bullxs will do it no prob what ever the %. But i do think if you going to put the bull in the x, you need enough in the 1st place , and 1x or 3/8 is about right to make (that) differnce .

Bryn is really just a rabbit dog and dam good un, but Tod will do tackle alot more than rabbits .lol So he is a lurcher but more than just a rabbit dog

So would you not class my 1/4bull 1/4whip 1/2grey pup as a bull x ?

I would call it a grey whippet with a touch of bull but that's just my opinion. Either way you look at it it's a lurcher so unless you think it 'bigs up' a dog to call it a bull cross why call it anything else?

Why not call it a bull x grey with a touch of whippet ? lol

myself CANT SEE THE POINT IN AQUIRING A BULL X THAT WOULD MAKE UNDER SIXTY POUNDS ,ther his better types for rabbs and feather that can be sourced ,sixty pound plus will with the right breeding ,give you an animal taking of taking preban of course foxes nighrt in night out in numers single handed , plus the heavier edible game . temperament his a very important must in the generation bred bull xs from good lines ,some can be scatty untrustworthy round other dogs etc , the line bred bull types to me will out shine most f1s like most types finding the right lines bred from skilled knowledgable breeders of ocasional litters his wher i would look if needing a bull x atb bunnys.
