blind in one eye.

Recommended Posts

a few months ago the dog in my avatar ran through a blackthorn hedge after a rabbit when he came back he had a thorn stuck right in the center of his eye so off we went to the vets.

the vet said he will never see again but did not feel the need to take it out he said it will just stay cloudy.

has any one else ever had a one eyed dog run bunnys with any sucsess.

I know someone who has a non-ped whippet with one eye, she went on to be a national bend champion

Good luck with your dog, i'm sure he will be fine.

I have a dog here who did the exact same thing, had some very expensive surgery and they managed to save some of the sight in the eye. After the post op lay up he couldnt strike for toffee but within a few nights out he learnt to compensate and to see him work now you would never know

Hi [bANNED TEXT] I had a half x bullgrey he had a bang to the head off a train and it sent him blind in 1 eye it took him a while to get used to it but after a few outing and getting used to it I could slip him on things at hundred yard and he was ok at that distance so my opinion [bANNED TEXT] is you shouldn't have a problem atb and happy christmas
