engraver 44
Same barrel on the 101 and same reg so its a pellet thing as said. Some soft pellets slightly deform when pushed through a mag with a probe but its minimal (maybe microscopic) pellets like jsb and airarms field. But when they seat in the barrel the blast of air should slightly balloon the skirt back out especially on an fac airgun or say .177 as more pressure is required to push the pellet out in .177 as its doing near 800 fps even in 12 fpe form. Anyhow without babbling to much about the technical stuff, I reckon its bollox that the hw101 is any more accurate than a hw100 as how can you improve on 5p size groups at 45-5-yrds?? The one reason this rifle has been introduced is hft/ft rule that states you must remove the mag inbetween each lane/target, my airguns have mags and I couldnt do with the in out in out in out in out of the mags, I could have bought a single shot tray but couldnt part with about £40 for a bit of shitty plastic although I have heard the single shot tray for the hw100 is a good one and easy to use. So the hw101 is aimed at the tin chicken boys for sure, ill stick with my hw100tk and 14 to play with thanks. Edited January 31, 2013 by engraver Quote Link to post
Ozzyj 2
Single shot adapter for the hw100 is a cracking bit of kit. Pops out when you pull back the cocking level so easy for someone like me with sausage fingers. Quote Link to post
