Air arms s300

Got offered an air arms s300 with silencer and scope for £160 are they any good ? it's not for me as i've got the rapid but my nipper is after a gun but it needs to be lightweight as he's only 11...... these look to be lightweight but are they any good for hunting ect ..........

Oooh yeah great advise to give out you prat, it's idiots like you who give all airgunners a bad name. Not to mention that you'll be eligible for a nice long 5 year sentence if your rifle is found to be over the limit, and police confiscate guns on quite a regular basis. Please remove your post or at least edit it.

 

Rant over, and yes that is a good price for the gun.

Good price but the spares are now like rocking horse shit. Hard to get parts for when things go wrong. Save a bit more dosh and go for a new S200, or wait for a 2nd hand one to come around for similar money. It's lighter than the 300 series and your lad will be much happier carrying it round.

 

Alec. Any talk of tuning guns up on the forum will have your posts pulled. If you want to deal in FAC air rifles do it through the legal channels.
