See a physiotherapist, cortisone injections (fecking hurt LOL), Ultra sound treatment and possibly vertibrae manipulation.

I had all the above and the last one worked.

Good luck.

Cheers, D.

i had all the above - the stuff the physio did seemed to make it worse never recovered from one session to the next -- took 9 months for mine to clear -- then i go the shoulder problem

I had it a 8 years ago.caused by repetative strain.was picking up units at work about 3kg each anything from 60 to 100 times a day.i thought it was the bending movement in the elbow that caused it but the doc said no.it was the way i was gripping them to pick them up.he said i could have upto 3 injections but dont always work.or change the way i worked and the job.which did help.had to go down to shooting a kids bow-22lbs draw wieght and keep the arm all strapped up just so i could carry on with the archery.took me a good 12 months for it to go.at the worst couldnt pick up a kettle full of water.came off that paticular job i was doing and totally cleared up.never had anymore problems since.

My main problem is i cant sit still for too long and i have done a lot of forestry and chainsaw work and humping log's about over the past couple of month's..which has not helped me one bit..and like you i can't pick a kettle up at time's or anything even a mobile phone of i use a certain angle..i hope it eases of soon as i have a load more woodland clearing to do..and it is a real hinderance..

Only thing that shifted mine was a cortisone injection.. If you go that route it it ache like buggery for a day or so after you had it done.. more pain that the original problem .. but within 2 days of having it i was using my arm & haven't had a problem since

Ah I have this crap as well. I've no solution for you Millet, but I do sympathise!

I went for a 5 minute consultation a few years back (€190!), got painkillers and told to rest, then come back for injections if it keeps bothering me.

Have to say that the needle is looking real good some days. f*****g weight of the lamping gear isn't helping me.

Here you go.

My hunting partner uses one. Irritates him a bit after wearing it for awhile, but works for him.

Iv'e had it before and went down the Cortisone route, yes the needle hurt, but sorted the tennis elbow out.
