i saw one once it was very slow a guy bred it to agreyhound to try and put speed into it , in the realms of life if they were that good coursing guys hters rabbiting men pestcontroles poachers would have them , i think there got to much of a mix

Aint that the truth, once he had my number and kept calling to try and sell me a pup. I think his tactic is to ware you down with long tedious calls, until you cave in and say YES i will have a pup, just to get shot of him :laugh:

Struck me as a grade 'A' nutter, and this was confirmed s few years later when i met him in person at a show.

I judged a couple of these a few year back. Nice looking dogs, black and tan. The breed was supposed to go back hundreds of years, but then the guy told me they had Piccardy in them, so I suppose that contradicted the "hundreds of years" of the same breeding ! LOL !
