The Duncan 802
How does anyone rate the ml270 for offroading? General feedback would be appreciated. Cheers Duncan
Baghdadnights 150
Depends on how extreme off road your thinking light green lane work there ok anything more and they do struggle and to say there a little fragile is an understatement. Atb Kev
kirstysdad 827
not for off road owned one for a few years anything worse than wet grass it struggled we use a nissan navara crew cab will get most places no problem and better on fuel than the merc
The Duncan 802
Thanks guys, I'm not really looking to do any extreme off-roading, just the odd green lane and carting hide, deeks and a dog round fields occasionally. Had been considering a newish Kia Sportage diesel, but the wife is a snob and as I'm going to trade a Jag in, she wanted another posh car to replace it ffs! BDK, when you say fragile, what things break on them? Cheers all Duncan.

Id go for the merc personally ,if your only doing green lanes and nothing to severe a set of all terrain tyres would help ive had the new shape navara and thought it was shite on fuel, I know a bloke who uses a 270ml with mud tyres around his farm with no problems , ive got a new shape 320cdi ml and use that for going shooting in ect havent been stuck yet!
