villaman 9,983
Hi Has any body had problems with this cylinder. I have one of there Hw100kt cylinders and the o ring between the gauge and cylinder keeps expanding between the two parts and letting out air. I have replaced this o ring 5 times in the same amount weeks. A&m sent me more o ring when i first had the fault. I hope this is not a problem with them as they are £130 a lot of money Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Is it the seal or the cylinder? As it is aluminium it will expand and contract at a different rate to the rest of the action. When I last spoke to Adi he said he had sorted this out! Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
Hi just spoken to a&m gun smiths Adi has phoned me out of hours to sort out the problem. I sent him a email and he responed straight away . How many company's would be bothered to do that ,what a top man and a very good company he has Quote Link to post
Acuspell 329
I think you'll find it is just a batch of O-rings that you can't tell until you try them. HW had exactly the same problem with O-rings on the 100s when they first came out. New Orings sorted it and I am sure it is only the compound of the O-rings on Adi's cylinders too. I bet he has already been on to the O-ring supplier and got them changed. Don't blame the £130 cylinder for a 5p O-ring! Quote Link to post
Acuspell 329
You replied just as I was typing....glad to see it is getting sorted. He is not the sort of chap to rip people off. Quite the opposite in fact, he does a lot of work for no payment to get youngsters going and especially for disabled shooters. A top chap! Quote Link to post
