Patterbull 8 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 hi people , recently my terrier has had slight diarrhia not constant but after his first toilet but after he goes he gets little bit of blood come with his stools hes absolutly fine in his self and drinking but not eating as much , i wormed him yesturday to see if that could be the problem but when checked early he still had it , i know worms dont always come striaght away but its starting to worry me abit,just wants some advise before i consider taking him to vets ? thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
george15 5 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 what you feeding him mate ? could be too much protien . . i have 4 lurchers an when i fed them red mills racer 27% protien an i give them venison with it i had the same problem . . try lower the protien intake . . knocker76 40 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Share Posted December 19, 2011 sounds like a touch of collitis, starve it for 24 hours then start giving him a little bit of boiled chicken and boiled plain white rice, or pasta and scrambled egg, if it hasnt cleared up in a couple of days get it up the vets, make sure its still taking plenty of water. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
