Saluki x greyhound

Only ever owned collie and bull crosses but thinking of trying a saluki cross. I know form should always follow function but I prefer the 1st crosses with their smooth hair. Do the pups take more after the greyhound ie fast, with little stamina or do you get the best of both worlds?

I like the look of the saluki x on the dog section of this site. It's a smooth coated red dog, can anyone post the pic of it? I wonder how the 1st x compares with high saluki blooded dogs on big rabbits? My Hancock 3/4 was very handy on them
