1st trip of the season

well me and wor kid ventured out yesterday for our 1st trip on the season,,1st set and a bloody big dig lol

 

the reason why we had to dig was not because the ferret laid up ....no no no somebody (wor kid) didnt put the collar on tight enough but after a 6-8ft dig

 

anyway after a cuppa we cracked on to set number 2 and guess what

 

i knew there was a reason i brought him lol lucky for us most of these are sand banks ....so digging was easy (for him) lol

 

because of the digging time soon caught up with us so we managed 1 more set

 

which gave us a total of 11 rabbits for the day

we got to about 3-4 ft and stepped it so we had a platform down to the other 3 ft

the dig was about 8ft all in....got down to about 3ft made a shelf and then the length of the spit at arms length on top, we also got a rabbit out too which was worth it

 

if you have a look at the vid it looks like a bottomless pit....lol
