Planned litter for next year, who else?

Really just a sub-thread from another, who else is planning a litter and what are hoping to achieve from adding the blood to the line?

 

Both these dogs have proven theirselves in the field and I think the off spring will be handy all rounders the with the dog being 7 and the bitch being 8,

 

Looking to add more height and more of a coat

im planning a litter from my old bitch havent found the stud dog yet looking for something big fast and game must be a good tackle catcher let ye know when i find it .... my last pup from her is doing me just fine but not quite fast enough for me but not wanting in the game department so all being well couple a year should see me with the catching dog im after thats if i can find a worthy stud lol lol

Aye I know what you mean and tbh when I first saw my proposed stud working I thought he was a lemon, he was given by a gamekeeper at 18mth who said he was catching regular, but the first night he was out he was running along side quarry and not striking give the owner his due he put alot of time into him and by the next season he was taking all put in front of him, watched him go from stride to stride over the last 5 yrs and a couple of years ago I suggested to the owner of a lining but been waiting for the right time, tried the summer there but bitch wouldn't stand so will try again in 2012, there isn't a dog I'd rather put over her,

She's 5/8 grey 3/8 collie 23 tts just looking for maybe a bit more stamina.

Iv got a one that was planned, Well there due 23rd of this month, Lurcher to lucher bred so hopefully have a few for decent little pot filler for next yr
