Lost some permission myself yesterday through no fault of mine Im really peed off about it but the farmer couldnt be talked to.

i was on a bit of local land the other morning its not strickly a public foot path but every man woman a dogs on there 24/7.

Anyway this fat fu*ker comes over like ten men, bearing in mind about 100 or so yards in front theres some split arse with her fat fu*king labs, and says "you do no this is private land blar blar fu*king blar" so i takes it all in and mentions about this woman wi her dogs.

All i gets is i arent talking to her i"m talking to you.

So i asks is it cos i have lurchers matey, he looks at me and just says listen son listen to what i say and go.

....i can guess he might have changed his tune slightly

 

thing is its worse when you know you aint doing no harm just mooching about enjoying the walk like every other fecker,pocket full rabbits and ferrets in boxes you could prob understand his reasoning,never mind

If I'd been threatened with a shotgun and had a mate with me as witness, my mobile would have been out of my pocket with a call to the police for assistance in seconds.

I was threatened by three idiots shooting pigeons in the field behind my house; shoot my dogs, give me a hiding, all sorts of threats. I calmly told them they had five minutes to pack up and clear off before I called the police and the helicopter would take only minutes to get here ! The uttered a few more threats and started packing up. Of course, I had NO intention of calling the law, but they must have went moaning to the farmer, who must have recognised me by their description of me and my dogs, as he 'phoned me the next day, full of apologies and said he had banned them from ALL the land he farms !! The sad thing is, if they had just said "hey mate, watch the dogs as we're shooting", I would have kept well out of their way until they had finished, but their beligerent attitude cost them a nice bit of permission ! Moral of the story is manners cost nothing and bad manners can cost you a lot !!

as i said i dont blame him and never gave any attitude as you say manners cost nothing,our paths may well meet again permission is not always a definate no once someone gets to know you cheers

All farmers and land owners like to think they are getting something for nothing, so to start with give a little and in time you will get alot. Put it this way if a dodgy looking bloke was roaming about your ground you would be the first to feck him.
