Toys/presents you remember

Recommended Posts

Been watching that 100 greatest toys on tv.

What toys do you remember from a kid? I'm a spring chicken so all I can remember is:

Stretch armstrong, we used to get him from our bedroom to the kitchen door and one day- boom, old stretchy got abused!

That doctor game: can't remember the name, where you pick the body parts out without touching the sides? And you end up with no pieces left after a couple of weeks because you've lost them all.

Can't forget them micro scooters- I had the fancy ones with front 'suspension' you only had to hit a stone or a crack in the pavement and you would be over the bars the wheels were so small.

Had the usual. Mini motos, bmx, mountain bikes, remote controll cars but best ever has to be the mobile phone. They had just came out, mine was 'BT cellnet' size of a house brick and an ariel like a fishing rod. Thought I was the bees knees walking around with it clipped onto my belt that I was wearing just so i could clip the phone onto! Haha

Like to hear some of yours
