Feeling Christmassy?

Recommended Posts

Bollocks to it, I am! :D Kids are getting exited, even the middle two who blew the Santa Claus myth out the water just before last Christmas don't know what they're getting with 100% certainty. They've told us what they want, but we've been giving them the old 'Well, they're very popular items so don't get your hopes up..' bollocks so they're nervously waiting. ;) The three year old is just getting old enough to understand that Christmas is something to look forward to, and the eldest don't give a shit! The wife is getting exited because she's only got three days left in work as a school cook, although she's terrified at the prospect of cooking Christmas dinner for 60 tomorrow!

I'm afraid to say, I am not.   Wife keeps asking me if I'm feeling christmassy. Feeling pressured to give a positive response.   Well, my kids are 16 and 11 so instead of a letter to Santa its a l

I fecking hate it with real passion, nothing but a guilt trip on the whole.Hate the fact you have to give gifts or else your looked upon as being a c*nt,if i want to give a gift i will and don't need n

its only what you make it.put a wee bit effort towards it,you might be pleasantly suprised.I wish everyone on THL a very merry xmas, even the tims.

i wouldnt say i feel christmassy, but i will on xmas day when the kids and wife open their pressies, thats what its all about  and i dont really give a feck about the cost,i cant take it with me

Good for you son.....what a miserable bunch of b*****ds sitting moaning about commercialism and having to put your hand in your pocket ....when your kids are grown up and off hand you will have reason to moan so make the most of it while you got it !....certainly wish i could have them days back.

I'm on call on Christmas day so it'll just be a normal day for us. Boxing day will be our Christmas day.

I don't think Christmas is that special nowadays. When i was small it was the time when you got your new bike or big game. I can remember putting "stars" next to things id like in me Mums Littlewoods catalogue. Nowadays the internet does it for you. Instant shopping, no having to wait till Christmas or Birthday.

I do like cooking Christmas dinner, that's probably the best bit for me, but we are a bit short on family now, so it's just the four of us every year.

you just stick into a shop mate,or do it yourself?

the screen is fukd.got black ink runing down the lcd lol

got about 3inches of screen thats normal

heap of fukn shit.

should put my ps3 in and get windows installed .

Its really as simple as unscrewing 8 screws (4 for the laptop lid which are usually hidden under the lids rubber plugs/legs and 4 for the screen itself) and unplugging the old screen and then putting the new one in and putting it back together again. You might have to prize the front and back of the laptops lid apart gently to get to the insides of the screen. What's the make and model of your laptop mate?

cheers Callum
