my mates still got 2 coliie wippets with a small % of bull grey in it i was thinking about geting 1 but dont no

 

litter bred that way in sacriston couple of weeks ago

if i was in your shoes pat thats what id be gettin,IF you rate the parents.gotta be better than travelling all the way to hancocks to spin a coin.you pays ya money you takes ya choice :thumbs:

jonny cacthe r on here is selling a lurcher i bred, i got all there family here , dont no what work its done but i had the mother lana top class worker in her prime , father tyne single handed dog in prime plus good allrounder ,, i would by it back but got the line all about me and young dogs in there prime, fatherto tyne was sniper x jade i bought it of s vickers , a bit of good breeding there

the dads is good on rabit and game as they come but he doesnt retrieve and mother havent seen here catch enything but me mate recons shes ok

glasgo the mother is bred from down dells way m chapmans bob to d slieghts katie , produced luke , luke bred to come on kera , produced lana , lana to tyne produced cacther , tynes father sniper to jade , pup sol , sol to saluki lurcher produced tyne

For pure rabbiting go for a smaller type rather than a donkey. 23" is a handy size for what you want and I know people who prefer smaller than that - the smaller they are the more agile and faster turning. Deerhound croses are fast and will catch rabbits on more open ground, but they haven't got such a tight turning circle! A well trained lurcher can do anything, include sit on a peg at a driven shoot and pick up afterwards - it doesn't half raise a few eyebrows, but that is all part of the fun!

 

Collie x is great, and if there is a bit of rough coated breed in there it will shrug off brambles better. Bedlington coats are armour plated.
