50 quid its a disgrace , nowadays not even worth the hassle, but you pay your money and take your chance ,shqame realy seeing dogs get passed on for a song

whats wrong with that good working mans price and for any young lads starting out could afford not everybody after money some people breed for own use and sell or give the pups away atb

mate ive always found out ones giving cheaply or free are always easier for some to pass on the same ,were if you save your money get whats on the tin then you will look after it ,alot more dougal, to me alurcher is worth a site more than 50 quid , i rate agood working lurcher as good as any spaneil lab ,so there you go ,nothing wrong with selling cheap but if you go to work you dont want to work for nothing same when i go fishing in the sea you sell your lobsters at the best price not the lowest mate , maybe im wrong

its not just cash mate when i think of time working them trying them , feeding them etc and i pay for what i get i wouldnt take adog for fifty ,a litter only gives you , what you put in to them money wise , and if you breed a good stamp then its great to see ,pups you bred doing the bizness ,

its a a sad day when i think of all the years ive put into hunting poaching traveling form dogs to see a man selling his wares for fifty no wonder the lurcher gam eis fool of all sorts ,i treat my dogs as just like a spaneil lab , bred to good sorts that are proven and you can end up with decent sorts

I co run a ferret rescue, but for some reason folk also bring dogs to me to rehome. I have rehomed many dogs over the last few years,- one was a lurcher that cost £1500, it did its job but the lad just brought it to me as he said i'd find it a good home. No cost,- and many other dogs that cost a fair few pounds, gone free. So money means nothing, to the type of home its going to.

Its breeding for high prices that is the problem in the dog world, pups on the go all the time to make money.

no one is forcing you to buy them .problem is alot dont do there homework , before they buy , then there sad becouse they havnt got what they wanted / or hey aint got a clue in the first place !!!!.////////////if its worth having its worth paying a decent price for!!

dont no any genuine lurcher owners hunters who breed lots , lucky if i have alitter every 2 to three years, its the pet industry thtas feched lurchers big stile ,i have guys asking about pups i says when im rady to breed not when you want apup, not into breding like hanckcok takes 2 to 3 hard seasons to test adog unles hees arite stamp they can be seen in there first season , but most take three years to matuite and see what they have in there tank ,i would say shite finds its own level hence fifty quid , if you breed good to good you dont have the same problems selling exsses pups if yo bred sell at adecnt price then i cant see a problem

Riohog, you have just contradicted everything.

Yes your right its homework,- finding out about the dogs breeding, seeing parents, knowing the owner and what work the parents have done. Condition of the pups etc. So money is a lottery,- what you pay for the well bred pup. This bloke is not after a lot of money. Great pups but as you say you don't have to buy them.
