hi lads next year i will be up and running with transport and was thinking of meaby compiling a dvd of how hunting is different around the country ... and for that i would need participents ... but we can come to that at a later day ... wah do you think of the idea thanks smitd

I suppose different terrain will pose different challenges and numbers of quarry types so could be interesting. Also differenct members takes on the same challenges.

aye i was thinking maybe put some ferreting and falconry and lurchers and rifle and shotgun and snaring.... the lot more maby for someone who is just thinking about hunting to give a insight to all walks of shoting

not wanting to be negative here but i cant see any dvd being a hit,most ppl these days will just go onto the net and end up on youtube and get it all for free.....only way this sort of thing will really work is if its a pro film with shop released nationwide sales,which is very unlikely as its such a subject that you'd need some big name to it,sorry just my opion here

Spot on answer that Phil, and something me and Davy have looked at and addressed and almost managed to achieve with the help and advice of some famous and respected shooting personallites.

 

After speaking to people in the know we have changed our attack on the way we will be doing any future DVDs.

 

Getting your DVDs properly published and marketed is the way a head .

 

You also need a full HD camcorder (1920 x 1080 quality) and good tripod to start filming in hence mine and Davys new toys (reviews to come on VerminHuntersTV).

 

Thats all Im saying for now .

yer your right si,my best [bANNED TEXT] produces programes for tv and also enjoys filming in his spare time,he keeps banging on at me to let him get some fotage but it would cut into the enjoyment of it all to much with the sort of equipment he drags around
