the_stig 6,614 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Share Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) when ever it pisses down i have a problem with the lights on my van -- scudo-- you can turn em on/off as normal but the side lights stay on . did it last winter for a few week or so aswell i keep disconecting the battery but its a pain in the arse -- how do i fit a switch from the battery to cut it off .. Malt 379 Posted December 17, 2011 Report Share Posted December 17, 2011 Typical Italian design, looks before function! My guess would be that you've got a dodgy earth somewhere. Have a quick look round the engine bay and check all the wires that ground on the chassis/bodywork. If you see any real rusty ones, unscrew them, clean the contacts and put them back on.
