I'm a big fan of the Beddy x ,never seen one that showed nothing other than 110%,if I had to start from scratch in this game the Beddy x grey would be my chosen starting point...as for Whin and his bl

you have seen a lot of things mate but you talk some shit mate atb

Whin I enjoy a lot of your posts and I'm sure you walk the walk as you like to say, but sometimes there maybe other people who are worth listening to, who maybe have walked the walk too, some of these

One a large grey/beddy 24tts that was around my area in the 70s was a consistent hare catcher in the feilds around s.yorkshire and this cross is the only non grey x another running dog first cross that i have seen catch hares regular. The same dog also was a good producer of good offspring [bANNED TEXT] mated to other lurcher types i put it down to [bANNED TEXT] the bedlington is put to a streight greyhound the greyhound seems to absorb the beddys traits but dosent throw cloddy dogs unlike collie and bull.

I haven't seen too many first cross Beddy/Greys on hares, but I know of two that caught daytime hares. The sire to my bitch Delta, a Heartbreak Fell 1st X, could take them, and way back a pal of mine had one that could do 2/2. and the odd 3/3, but I suspect he was an exception. I don't think they are meant to be out and out hare dogs...just decent allrounders, that can take the odd hare.

Cheers.
