Romany 1,065
Nice work Bill, as always what the 4th bird ? Looks like a coal tit with blue legs? Yeahh coal tit, did a bit ringing with the BTO a few years back and I hated getting these little feckers in the mist nets, their feet are sooooooo bigggggggg, always took ages to get them out the net, Ive seen quite a lot,at certain times of the year with more blue in the colour of their legs, maybe on this one it was more to do with the way the light was coming in on the pic..but wasnt doing to bother desaturating the colur of the legs, rest seem ok on my monitor.. Its amazing how much they look like a bird over here called Chickadee Looks very similar Paul..checked the latin names and they are different..some cracking images you have on your site matie.. jsmith 103
Grade A stuff Romany, all great captures I really like the barn owl and the kingfisher is a very hard capture ,well over here anyway. I know of a lad who spent 6 weeks in a hide and had to resort to placing some minnows in a small fish tank into a stream to get a similar shot.

Heres another of a kingfisher.. Edited January 19, 2012 by Romany
jsmith 103
Another great shot Romany, I'm in the Blackwater valley and years ago you'd see loads of Kingfishers but now the bloody mink have all but wiped them out.
