Only you can judge what that particular dog is or isnt capable of, a jacker is a quiter in my eyes and shouldent be confused with a dog that isnt up to the job, i.e a whippet that refuses to pull a red deer isnt a jacker, the person who sliped it is a dreamer (an extreme example but you get the idea). Factors that are more to do with owners than dogs seem to be the cause quite often, also a lot of crap dogs kicking around from people breeding and pedaling rubbish Just my thaughts, not from experiance, just common sense.
