Lightforce dark shadow in middle of the beam

Fitted a new 100w bulb to my scope mounted striker, was out last night and found there was dark shadow right in the middle of the beam any ideas how to sort this

you didnt get the bulb from asda did you :laugh: i got some and had the same problem :laugh: :laugh:

No it was proper bulb osram VF

as said try moving the bulb out

as said try moving the bulb out

I started the night with the bulb pushed right in great beam but was getting to much glare moved the bulb out and thats when i got the shadow never happened before

as already said cover ur fingers,push bulb right in place put lamp head on get ur spot as close as u want.if not right pull bulb out a little then try again,might take a few trys to get ur spot good

It could really only be 3 things, Likes been said sounds like the houseing need focusing in by twisting it, Or try moving the bulb afew mm in and out, And if that anit it id say its a fault bulb with to much glass nipple bit at the top of the bulb,

 

Get a new bulb and see, Or if your mates have a lightforce try there bulb in your lamp to see if your still having the same problem....

Faulty bulb compared with mates mines has that extra glass nipple will be sent back for replacement spot on tiny 7 :thumbs: Edited by halloween man
