hogie 103
hogie, how do you find the temperament of the 3/4 X compared with the 1/2 X Wheaton or Bull? You all have a some fine looking dogs! he wouldnt be as head strong as the 1/2wheaten 1/2greys or some bullx's he's not the gamest of dogs but he kills foxes without getting smashed up and that suits me the bullx i lined him to is a pain and was always layed up he can be a bit fighty around some lurchers but has been penned with my bullx for about 4years they have the odd scrap but never anything serious but he is brillant around terriers and hounds ive penned him with afew different terriers without any bother Thanks for that mate, I used to have a GSD/Grey X Dearhound & she was great on the fox but since she died a couple of years ago we have had a load of trouble with fox's on our smallholding & so I am looking for a X that will do the job & be ok with our other dogs. Thanks for the comments, good hunting! get yourself a wheatonx or bullx mate either x would be suitable for you mate & both dogs have good temperments you just got to socialise them with others dogs for a young age I've had both xs & never had a fighter but both xs in my eyes are better for stuff with teeth atb cbx there both handy my wheatenx isnt to bad with other dogs when out for a walk its just lurchers hes abit funny with Quote Link to post
