moocherboi 8
my hob didnt seem to be eating so i kept and eye on him and then when i checked again the next day he seemed to be snuffling as if he had a cold and full of mucus. also noticed he had not eaten his food. so started to realise something was defenately wrong, i decided to warm some milk up for him and he loved it!!!! seems better now as he has eaten his food. , will check him again tomorrow and see how he is, maybe have to take him to the vets if need be. has anyone else experienced this?? I keep him the th garage in his own hutch and also made sure he has plenty of straw as bedding. handleing him last, so i try not to spread it to the other ferrets. James Quote Link to post
chrisnick 1
I've had the same with one of my ferrets she was in a right state sniffling sneezing took it to the vets and was told that it was cold / flu which can be passed from humans so if you have cold/flu best to keep away Quote Link to post
moocherboi 8
Yes i can be passed from humans to ferrets, but i have not got it and neither has anyone i am around. i may of just been a carrier. Did the vets give you anything for it? Quote Link to post
chrisnick 1
They said there's nothing to give the just keep em warm and I gave her plenty of old cloths for beddingand warm soy milk every night and that seemed to do the trick but the can die from it according to my vet atb Chris Quote Link to post
