j1985 1,983
They are used on rats and rabbits as that's all your allowed to hunt with dogs legally!! Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,426
If you've already got a staff and want to try a bit of bushing or ratting then give it a try but I wouldn't recommend buying one specifically for hunting, its unlikely you would find one from working parents too. 1 Quote Link to post
blackstaff 488
I take mine lamping, a great work out for them chasing those bunnies and always brilliant for both of us when she catches. Mine comes pugging too, she marks fairly well and you know if the rabbit hits the net its not getting out Bushes pretty well although maybe a bit big but she enjoys it, She also goes ratting, in 'our' pack of ratting dogs she is referred to as the ' soft mouthed stafford ' :D Good little all rounders imo, never going to be a world beaters but a more honest hard working dog you'll be hard pressed to find. Providing it's a decent dog, not a barrel shaped, 6 inches off the floor show bred sh'tter that you see alot of 1 Quote Link to post
