Baited sites are used on alot of species.....we even do it here with high seats. Are you worried that Paddington might come along and get shot Hedz?.... No we dont lab ye tossers with rifles do and we dont have black bears in england ye fool and i never did like paddington ye go over and shoot ye black bear son see if it makes ye feel a big hunter and stick the feckers head on ye wall I wouldn't dream of shooting one but i wont knock someone who wants too. What is it with you lads and your hatred towards money people..........if they've got it let them do what they want with it. If you won the lottery tomorrow you'd spend it how you liked....wouldn't you?... Thanks for the support but if Hedz31 thinks there is money in guiding 3-6 people a year for what I charge the joke is on him , he should shake their head. I retired this year and have hunted/fished for the past 40 years and it has always been my passion to do some guiding so I decided to give it a go this year. Or putting out mineral licks/paste etc near a high seat for Deer? Or even putting out decoys for Ducks, Geese or Pigeons, then sitting in a hide? Some people really are short sighted in their views on other hunters sport. I for one look forward to reading about some of the trips Kenny14, you are absolutely right, there are all sorts of aids we use to to help bagging our game, be it decoys, lures or spoons for fishing, scent sprays, baits, dogs, etc. the end result is to help us fill a tag. Yes, some people are short sighted on other hunters sports but I always accept it as a challenge to educate that hunter. In my opinion, I am sure if Hedz31 ever tried or was a little more open minded about a black bear hunt he would indeed see the ultimate pleasure in it. 1 Quote Link to post

Family in Burlington Nothin like a good pint at any pub . My wife and I won a trip to England and Scotland this past summer and let me tell ya, ye all have a ton of great pubs. Not only that you know what a pint is, here is Canada, a pint is only 3/4 of what you serve up. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the fine ales ye all put out. I doubt it mate i like hunting with dogs only either hounds terriers or lurchers and i am open minded,i aint a fan of shooting with rifles especialy baited sites and i wouldnt shoot a bear if ye payed me,if ye hunted them with hounds and put them up trees after a few miles maybe that would float my boat and i would have a trip over but shooting on baited sites really aint my thing 1 Quote Link to post
