DogMagic 461
My most memeroable one was a new forest pony! Lol! They wear reflective collars so they dont get run over. At night and right at the end of the beam i could see the glimmer of what i thought was a rabbits eyes. It was a pony laying down. I send the dog and as the dog gets to within 10 yards or so the thing stands up! The dog did an emergency stop, spun round to look at me and im sure he hissed "c**t" at me as i put the lead back through his coller! Lol! Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
i heard about a member on this site that used to be a mod, was told he lamped a rock an his dog lost most its teeth on the strike, an he will openly admit that he dont need a break stick not surprised if his dog got no teeth Millet I slipped the old dog on what looked like the arse end of a bunnie..i soon realised what it was when i heard the crack and the dog screaming..the poor fooker had knocked nearly all his teeth out..the fang's that where remaining where pointing out like a wart hog which where held on with a piece's off gum which i had to pull out by hand.. ...luckely he did not break his jaw and carried on for a couple of more season's before dieing about 3yrs ago at 8yr old from menangitis..R.I.P..Sambo. Sirius 1,391
I have had this happen a few times to one of my dogs, chipped teeth mainly, unlike Millets unlucky dog. Quote Link to post

Hope you got your eyes checked after the dog was sorted My eye's are sound and i am sure we have all made little mistake's once in a while...i once slipped a dog on a bike peddle reflector.. ..they was long grass blowing in front of it and it was the double of a fox blinking.. ..after the dog stopped when he got near it i thought he had bottled it and realised what it was when i got about 15ft away from it.. skycat 6,173
If you can't see the eyes, or otherwise in doubt, walk the dog up to it on the slip: saves a lot of smashed teeth, though I did once slip a dog on a cow pat with a bit of tin foil shining out of the top LOL Quote Link to post

But a lot of the fatties on here like their dogs to run the beam and coke cans are still legal quarry, as a large bag of flattened ones are a fiver . 1 Quote Link to post
