BORDERSCOT 3,816
Its effing hard work being a Plummer owner i joined both the WPTF and the EPTS, bad move, i left the EPTS as i found i had more in common with the lads and lass's on the WPTF, iam not pro KC and dont like the tit for tat slagging that goes on, if i were the KC i would,nt touch the Plummer with a barge pole . Britishbull24, when do you get the pup and which one did you go for, atb, buster. Surely it's as effing hard as you want to make it??? No??? Never had a Plummer and to be honest, never will. Don't excite me at all. Just buy a terrier and graft its arse off. Surely the only person you need to satisfy is yourself. Do you have to join one of the Plummer clubs to have one of these dogs. I'd wager that some of the best Plummers out there are owned by folk who have no interst in forums, clubs or the like. Once these 'clubs' have one or two 'alpha males' or worse still 'alpha females' it'll end like any other organisation of it's kind - f****d!!! 2 Quote Link to post

Britishbull24 131
I wanted a Plummer because I like the look of the breed, I wanted a terrier that isn't an out and out earth dog as I have a fair bit rabbit and rat permission. But if my dog doesn't make the grade on fox he will be gone. Simple as. There are plenty of Plummer owners that work fox. It's like any breed, some are upto the job and some are not. I must admit I enjoy the forums as you get to chat to like minded lads that are interested in the same game as you. But you learn to avoid the muppets. Everyone on here is here for the same reason are you not? What's the difference between this forum and any other? Quote Link to post
deck 35
seen a few cracking plummers and plummer crosses work and are genuine little terriers, the only trouble today is there size alot are way to big but that could be rectified, also lets not forget all this shit thats surrounding these little dogs has nothing to do with them these terriers were bred to work which they will do given half the chance Quote Link to post
