alan626 305 Posted December 25, 2011 Report Share Posted December 25, 2011 Headed out this morning around 8 o clock and met a mate of mine to check a few earths on his permission,the 1st earth we checked we dug his black dog to 2 and let them run ,then we checked a few more in that place but nothing at home so we moved on to another place and he left his terrier in the van ,checked a few around but nothing and then my lakey dog bushed a fox out of the cover and ran him to ground and entered in behind him ,we let him work for a while then got a mark on him at .7 right on the ditch in under a load of black thorn so it was a hard dig even thou it was only .7 'when we broke through and lifted the dog i was letting my wheaten x lurcher in to draw it out but as i was getting the lurcher it bolted out the back door and the lakey dog slipped the collar and ran up the ditch and followed it into another earth so we where letting him work it again and when we got a mark of only .4 out in the field we started to dig but as soon as the graft hit the mud the fox bolted again but was met by my lurcher bitch as it tryed to run and she dealt with it then never leave home witout ur bottle of coke lol dogs are getting plenty of work well done Quote Link to post
