derbylad1 293 Posted January 14, 2013 Report Share Posted January 14, 2013 you shouldn't have to tie your dog, get him rock staedy to ferrets first. A dog needs to be taught a lot of things before it goes into the field to work and being broken to ferrets needs to be a priority. If and when he starts to pay attention to holes, never praise him for it, otherwise it'll encourage false marking. a good marking dog is worth its weighht in gold. Quote Link to post
