Saluki Bull Grey

Thinking of getting a new dog soon Just contenplating what cross. My last dog was a 1st X Bull grey.

Great dog couldn't fault him but sadly early this year he passed at a very young age of 2 1/2 he was my 1st working dog and ever since iv'e took a break because it broke me but now i'm ready & in for a new dog been looking last month or so & the X whats took my eye is the Saluki Bull Grey saw a few run & heard alot about the seem very handy dogs

Whats your opinions.

You had experience with this cross bud ? Got a 9 week old pup of that breading.Will be the first time a have ran anything with saluki.

iv had 2 in the past and both were very quick and would run all night and also caught 95% of the time you should have some good nights out

thats ok if you got 2 good lurchers

i don,t think its hard these day even harder 2 find a working pure bull and working greyhound :thumbs:

i know what your saying 2 of my m8s have bull/grey 1 is a good dog the other is rubish

its the look of the draw when breeding from non tested dogs

Some of the best catch dogs I've owned/seen run have been sal/bull/grey all with 1/4 saluki or less in the mix just for a little more power/drive, but the breeding behind them has been from well tested lines right through and this is the most important thing, you can't just throw a cross together and expect to get top class dogs as I'm sure you know, so do you research and wait for the right litter to come along would be my advice.
