A Brace this Afternoon.

Recommended Posts

Hello All

After being a 'watcher' on another account for a while, I decided to set up this account and do a bit of posting. After doing a few jobs for the parents this morning, I grabbed my polecat jill 'Nutjob', a rucksack full of nets and a spade, and set off. I decided that today I would ferret a few warrens that are along a fencline. I netted them all up at the start, so that any bunnies that got out of the nets would hopefully be backnetted at a different warren. It was slow going at the start, with the first couple of warrens not holding any rabbits. I then had a rabbit bolt, straight into a net and tangle itself up. A few more empty warrens, then a black'un bolted and was nicely caught again.

I worked Nutjob along the rest of the warren, but nothing else was home so I packed up and headed home, skinned the rabbits which are now waiting in the garage for the butchers on Monday.

All the best lads,
